It is very exciting to upgrade the netbooks as it has now become very easy. We can upgrade any notebook of any brand; the prime requirement is just a set of screwdrivers and presence of mind.

We should follow the following steps while upgrading a notebook:

Identify what had to be upgraded.
The two basic things in a laptop that can be upgraded are the RAM, which further have two types; DRAM and SRAM. The other thing that can be upgraded is the Hard Disk Drive (HDD). We can upgrade them by checking the spaces in them.

How to access the RAM and HDD.
Generally the RAM and Hard Disk of the laptop is at its back. It all depends on the manufacturer that where should he place the devices. Sometimes both these devises are on the same panel and sometimes at a different panel. The devices may be located anywhere all that matters is the requirement of screwdrivers.

How to Install?
While installing the new HDD and RAM one should always keep in mind that the new ons are installed in the same format of the old ones.

Switch on your notebook
After installation one should switch on the notebook and check that there is no sign of error or fault in the system if there is any then either the installation is not done proper or the system is not able to support the HDD or RAM

To know about the RAM one has to go to the settings of the main menu where the information about the available space in the devices.
